The wine has gunpowder, forest fire, flint, mocha, full body and is mineral, structured, long and dry. The wine is very polarizing and will need years to be truly harmonious. Nevertheless, the wine is very interesting and should be tasted. 17.5/20 points with potential.

The Kongsgaard 2016 Fimasaurus is typical California. The wine has cassis, blackberry, dark fruit, dark toast, butter, full body, perfect balance and is long, dense and elegant. 19/20 points.
