Here we have a Riesling from Australia and a Californian Chardonnay.
The Grosset 2013 Polish Hill Riesling is reminiscent of a Saar Riesling and is an ideal pirate for a Riesling tasting with German Riesling. The wine has blossoms, cake batter, medium body, crisp acidity, medium length and is fresh, austere and minerally. 18/20 points.
The Peter Michael 2016 Chardonnay Ma Belle Fille is very modern, but more in the European style. Therefore, it can be mistaken for a very modern Burgundy. The wine has vanilla, toasted notes, full body and is long and balanced. 18.5/20 points.
