We haven't had a Dunn Howell Mountain for a while, now it's time again. And there's a Riesling from Dreissigacker that, like the Unico Especial, was composed from several vintages.

The Dreissigacker NV Riesling Vintages Edition III consists of the 2017 to 2021 vintages (2017 0.2% 2018 17.8% 2019 19% 2020 26% 2021 37%). The wine has medium body and is herbal-spicy, very balanced, very mineral, long and above all very juicy, fresh and animating. 18.3/20 points.

The Dunn 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is an archetypal Dunn from the great 1991-1997 period, combining animal and powdered sugar notes with perfect balance and complexity. The wine is animal and complex with blood, red bell pepper, cassis, plaka, blackberry, herbs, earthy notes, some powdered sugar, full body, high density, long finish, structure with lots of polished tannin on the finish and plenty of minerality. 19.5/20 points for this character wine.
