There are slightly older wines.

The Domaine de L'Eglise 1982 Pomerol is unfortunately a little impure and has potato sack. The wine needs air and then gets better and better, but unfortunately does not completely lose the potato sack. The wine has earthy notes, red currants, cassis, medium body and a nice structure thanks to its still present tannin. 17.3/20 points despite the potato sack, a clean bottle 18/20 points and more.

The Lopez de Heredia NV Bosconia 5 Anos from the '70s has lots of sweet coffee, leather, rosehip, Tempranillo sweetness, medium to full body, a medium-long to long finish, good balance and is complex and fresh. 18/20 points.

The Giacomo Mascarello 1971 Barolo is atypical for a mature Barolo due to its immense fruit with Amarena, cherry and blueberries. The wine is polished and very fruity with medium to full body and has balance and medium length. 18.5/20 points.

The Château Guiraud 2009 Sauternes 1er Cru Classé is a very fruity and lush Sauternes with apple, quince, mango, apricot, peach, floor wax from botrytis, coconut, caramel, burnt caramel and full body. The wine is complex, dense, balanced, sweet and very oily. 18.8/20 points.
