Charles Heidsieck is one of our favorite champagne houses. It doesn't always have to be the Blanc des Millenaires.

The Charles Heidsieck NV Blanc de Blancs (disgorged 2019) has blossoms, a little coffee, a hint of brioche and caramel, medium to full body, a beautiful structure and freshness and is mineral and very balanced. Its acidity makes it suitable young as an aperitif champagne, but it is best left to mature for 5-6 years. 18-18.5/20 points.
