Who & Why

Find out who we are and why we do this: About us

This time we have champagne, Chateauneuf du Pape, Riesling from Rheinhessen and a Barbaresco.

The Agrapart 1989 L'Avizoise is now perfectly ripe with flowers, honey, cognac, some caramel, pastry, medium body, balance, freshness, long finish and mineral notes. 18.8/20 points for friends of mature champagne.

The Ets de Brabandere Van Houtte 1966 Chateauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Reservée is a perfect old wine with age sweetness, flowers, plaka, medium body, density, structure and still fruit with cherry and plum. 18.3/20 points.

The W.E. Frank 2015 Riesling Orbel had a phase in which it was very closed. Now the wine is back in full force with apricot, flowers, medium to full body and, above all, great density and structure. The wine is creamy, dense and long with lots of extract. 19/20 points.

The Paitin 2021 Barbaresco Sori Paitin shows the quality of the 2021 vintage in Piedmont. The wine has cherry, herbs, full body, structure, tannin, potential and needs time to reach its peak. 18.5/20 points.
