We have already experienced many disappointments from Burgundy. So it's all the nicer now to have a clearly great Burgundy in our glass again. Unfortunately, the price is again very high.

The More-Blanc 2011 Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru has a powerful nose with floor wax, iodine and some dark toast. The wine has full body and is lush, long, very mineral with almost chewy minerality, perfectly integrated dark toast, perfect balance, phenolic and youthful with incipient drinking maturity and high complexity. Wow! 19.3/20 points.
