The Paolo Scavino 2021 Barolo Bric del Fiasc has a lot of potential but still needs time. The wine has licorice, cherry, full body, lots of tannins, power, density, medium to long finish, and is mineral. 18.8/20 points.

The Sandrone 2021 Barolo Le Vigne still needs time and has potential. The wine has herbs, moss, full body, balance, medium to long finish, structure, tannin, and is complex and rather elegant. Le Vigne is more classic, while Aleste is more modern. 18.5/20 points.
