The Giovanni Rosso 2021 Barolo Serra is a very fruity and soft Barolo that could use a little more structure and complexity. The wine has lots of fruit with red berries, especially strawberries, full body, lots of soft tannins, a long finish, and medium structure. 18/20 points.

The Aldo Conterno 2021 Barolo Cicala is a very modern Barolo with high density and great potential. At the moment, it is still influenced by the barrique with notes of bounty and rosewood and has licorice, full body, lots of tannins, a long finish, balance, and high density. 18.5/20 points.
