For a perfect long evening, you just need awesome wines.

The Bollinger 2012 La Grande Annee is surprisingly fun to drink now. So it does not seem to be a champagne for long aging. The Champagne has a fine perlage, a powerful nose with flowers (including lilac), medium to full body, a perfect balance, a long finish, lots of minerality, power and density. 19/20 points. Drink now.

The Martinelli 2018 Chardonnay Three Sisters is harvested from the same vineyard as the Marcassin Chardonnay. The wine needs plenty of air and rewards with a powerful and complex nose of powdered sugar, herbs, honey, butter, cake batter and lime. It has a full body, a long finish, a slight residual sweetness and is dense, mineral and opulent. With air, caramel, white nougat and torrone also emerge. 19.5/20 points.

The Kongsgaard 2014 Chardonnay The Judge is the perfect Chardonnay. This is what a great Burgundy must taste like. The wine has power without end and definitely needs a big glass such as the Zalto Burgundy. The wine has an expressive and complex nose, dark toast, blossoms, toasty notes, perfectly integrated barrique, a full body, perfect balance and a long finish. 20/20 points.
