This time we have a Cornas from Alain Voge.

The Alain Voge 2015 Cornas Les Vieilles Vignes is still very youthful with lots of tannin. The wine is still strongly influenced by barriques, but also has the typical notes of the Rhone with animal notes, licorice and olives. It has a full body, a similar amount of tannin to a Nebbiolo, a long finish, a great structure and is precise, animalistic and balanced. The wine still needs time to fully develop and has potential for 19+ points in a few years. Currently 18.8/20 points.
