Our wines from the Kongsggard mailing list have just arrived.

It doesn't always have to be The Judge. With the Kongsgaard 2019 Chardonnay you get so much wine. The wine has a fantastic complexity with blossoms, vanilla, some citrus, almonds, toast and liquorice. It is full-bodied, balanced and has structure and a medium to long finish. The wine is still very young and needs time and air and then it gets better and better. 19.3/20 points.

This wine is of a similarly high quality, but is significantly more mature: The Morlet 2014 Chardonnay Ma Douce is very expressive with blossoms, vanilla and caramel, full body, balance and a medium to long finish. 19/20 points.

Same quality, other style: The Kühling-Gillot 2012 Nackenheimer Rothenberg Riesling GG Wurzelecht has blossoms, orange zest, bitter orange, a full-body, balance and mineral. It is a wine of density, power and complexity. The wine is balanced, elegant and still needs aeration. 19.5/20 points.
