Who & Why

Find out who we are and why we do this: About us

This time there are three interesting wines from different regions.

The Dürnsteiner Kellerberg is an archetypal Grüner Veltliner of the upper class.

Today we are tasting one of the best Grüner Veltliners, the Honivogl.

We taste two wines from Skoff from Styria.

We have from Juris 2007 Pinot Noir different vineyards and a 2016 Barolo Cannubi.

The wine of the evening was the 1967 Monte Real Blanco Reserva Semidulce, but we also had a great Champagne and three great reds.

Rheinhessen, Kamptal, Liguria and Piedmont are the wine regions this time.

This time there are three white wines from different regions and a Barolo Riserva 1985.

After drinking the 3-year-old bottling of this special cuvée and reading the description of the other two bottlings at Parker, the decision was clear: we absolutely have to try the 10-year-old and the 50-year-old.

Let's have a look at Jean Pernet Champagne, Heymann-Löwenstein Riesling Uhlen R, two great Reds from Burgundy and perhaps the best Red from Austria.

Thanks to a generous friend, we were able to taste excellent wines before the remaining bottles go to one of the next auctions.

White wine simply goes better on a hot summer evening.

This time we tasted 2007 Comtes de Champagne, a mature Grüner Veltliner, a classic Chablis, an unknown Californian wine, 1971 La Conseillante and 1967 Suduiraut.
