Who & Why

Find out who we are and why we do this: About us

The climate is getting warmer and warmer and Syrah is now also producing great wines in Germany, especially in Baden (Markgräfler Land and Kaiserstuhl).

This time we have wines from Alsace, Baden, Rioja and Tuscany.

After two beautiful sparkling wines, we turn our attention to Chardonnay from Germany, together with a pirate.

This time there is wine from Baden, Palatinate and Loire.

Here we have vintages 1947, 1995, 2015 and 2016.

We have Roederer Cristal, a Spanish Orange wine, an awesome Pinot Noir and a Burgundy.

This is a perfect pirate for any Cornas tasting.

We had the opportunity to taste some wines at a consignment.

I , Ralph, brought some white wines from a long weekend at the Kaiserstuhl. The Kaiserstuhl is a famous wine region for the Pinot varieties - Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc), Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) and Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). The wines were tasted blind in the MWC.

A few new wines from the last presence auction and tried and tested ones from the cellar.

Pinot Noir from Burgundy versus Pinot Noir/Spätburgunder from Germany. And the best Dornfelder. There have been some disappointments, so not all wine made it onto the picture.
