Who & Why

Find out who we are and why we do this: About us

This time we have wines from Alsace, Baden, Rioja and Tuscany.

The Zind-Humbrecht 2019 Muscat Goldert Grand Cru has rose petals, some floor wax, nutmeg, medium to full body, medium-long finish and is spicy, balanced and dry, but has a nice fruit sweetness. 17.5/20 points.

The Reinhold & Cornelia Schneider 2017 Pinot Noir *** is a sensational red wine from the Kaiserstuhl with coffee, roasted notes, cherry, blackberry, perfectly integrated barrique, full body and a long finish. The wine is balanced, dense, fruity and complex. 18.8/20 points.

The La Rioja Alta 1982 Gran Reserva 890 has the typical Tempranillo sweetness, American oak, rosewood, cherry, medium body, balance, a long finish and appears elegant. Unfortunately, it has a very slight hint of acetone, hence only 18/20 points.

The Casa Emma 1997 Merlot Soloio is a wine with structure and tannin. The wine has mocha, herbs, chocolate, animal notes, a medium to full body, a long finish and is balanced and complex. 17.5/20 points.
