The wines of Flowers are hard to find in Europe. So I bought my bottles 10 years ago in an auction. Now we drink my last bottle.

With all the strawberries sweetness and its rather cool climate style, this wine could also be a modern German Spätburgunder: The Flowers  2009 Pinot Noir Sea View Ridge has cherry, mocha, bacon, plaka, strawberries, a full-body, some tannin, structure, a long finish, balance, density and mineral. The wine shows no sign of aging and is in perfect shape. It has European style and it is all about elegance. 18.5/20 points.
