Today's wines are Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc, Pieropan Soave and Chardonnay from Piedmont.

The Les Cailloux 2021 Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc is approachable right now while being extremely elegant for a white Châteauneuf. The wine is 90% Roussane and 10% Grenache Blanc & Clairette and has blossoms, melon, full body, lots of glycerin, a medium to long finish and is mineral, creamy, dense and spicy. 17.8/20 points with potential for more.

The Pieropan 2022 Soave Classico has nutmeg, spicy notes, blossoms, medium body, a medium to long finish and a nice freshness through acidity almost like a Riesling. 100% steel tank. 16/20 points.

The Pieropan 2021 Soave La Rocca is still very young and has lots of butter, spicy notes, nutmeg, full body and a long finish. The wine is much too young and has potential. 100% barrique. 17.5/20 points.

Along with Gaia & Rey, the Aldo Conterno 2011 Chardonnay Bussiador is one of the best Chardonnays in Italy. The wine has tar, floor wax, flowers, full body, density, opulence, depth and balance. This character wine needs a lot of air and will not necessarily please everyone. 18.3/20 points.
