The Kongsgaard 2019 Chardonnay has herbs, blossoms, a touch of powdered sugar, full body, complexity and a long finish and is spicy and perfectly balanced. This is an archetypal Chardonnay from California. 18.8/20 points.

The Morlet 2019 Chardonnay Ma Douce is also an archetypal California Chardonnay with butter, white chocolate, resin, complexity, full body, perfect balance, creaminess, density and an almost long finish. The wine is perfect, you can't get much more than that. 19.8/20 points.

The Jean-Claude Bachelet 2007 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Murgers des Dents de Chien has less power than his California counterparts, though it is fresher and seems youthful despite its age. The wine has blossoms, grapefruit, some white chocolate, medium to full body, acidity and a tight structure. It is mineral and fresh and clearly has European style. 18.8/20 points.
