The Paolo Scavino 2016 Barolo Cannubi not only has the very fine tannin of the 2016 vintage, but is also elegant within this vintage.The wine has blossoms, tar, full body, density, a long finish, perfect balance and is phenolic. 19/20 points.

The 2017 Barolo vintage has almost as fine tannin as 2016, but not as much power. The Domenico Clerico 2017 Barolo Aeroplanservaj has cherry, bacon fat, full body, fine tannin, density, a very long finish, high complexity and is also phenolic. 18.8/20 points.

The Giacomo Conterno 2013 Barolo Ceretta has not so fine tannin due to the vintage, but still fine enough and elegant. The wine is very phenolic and has full body, perfect structure, density, a long finish and perfect balance. 19.5/20 points.
