There are Freisa and Verduno Perlaverga.

Freisa is related to Nebbiolo and therefore has similarities. The Scarpa 2019 Freisa has violets, tar, full body, lots of tannin, density, a long finish, structure and lots of potential. It's like a little Barolo. 18/20 points.

The Burlotto 2022 Verduno Perlaverga has the white pepper, raspberry and strawberry typical of the grape variety. The nose is extremely intense, on the palate the wine is very fruity and light on its feet with medium body, long finish and perfect balance. 17.8/20 points.

The Scarpa 2022 Verduno Perlaverga is much too young and closed at the moment. The wine has floral notes, raspberry, some white pepper, medium body, some tannin, a medium to long finish and will need a lot of time to open up and show its full potential. Currently 16.5/20 points, with potential for more.
