2014 was a difficult vintage, but the top producers have once again made great Barolo.

The Sandrone 2014 Barolo Le Vigne needs a lot of aeration and absolutely must be decanted. The wine has plaka, black fruit, blackberry, dark toast, full body, tannin, structure and a long finish. The wine is somewhat sparser due to the vintage. 18/20 points.
