We normally drink Barbera d'Asti or Barbera d'Alba. However, there is also a very interesting sub-zone of Barbera d'Asti, Nizza DOCG, which has existed since 2014. The wines are 100% Barbera.

The Romano Dogliotti 2019 Montevenere Nizza DOCG is a fruity wine with a slight influence of toasted wood. The wine has cherry, cherry pit, dark toast, medium to full body, some tannin, medium length and is balanced. 16.5/20 points.
