Who & Why

Find out who we are and why we do this: About us

We have a mature red wine from the Kamptal and two great Pinot Noirs.

The Sonnhof Jurtschitsch 1985 Blaufränkisch Kreuzbichl shows that Austrian red wine can mature very well and does not need much alcohol (11.8% ABV). The wine is ripe and has strawberry, cherry, stewed plum, medium to full body, structure, balance and melted tannin. 16.5/20 points.

The Molitor 2012 Graacher Himmelreich Pinot Noir *** is an archetypal Pinot Noir on slate. The wine has mocha, cherry, slate notes, full body, balance, polished tannin and is fresh and elegant due to its acidity. The wine needs a lot of aeration and then gets better and more complex. 19/20 points.

The Kistler 2017 Pinot Noir Laguna Ridge Vineyard is typically for California very fruity, but also has enough depth and complexity. The wine has raspberry, strawberry, cherry, powdered sugar, full body, a long finish and is balanced and dense. 19/20 points.
