The Ramey 2016 Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard is an elegant Chardonnay that is just starting to become drinkable and has a lot of potential. However, it is already a lot of fun. The wine has mango, pineapple, vanilla, rosewood, some powdered sugar, full body and is dense, long, balanced, precise and focused, mineral and elegant. 19/20 points.

The Kongsgaard 2019 Chardonnay is initially closed and needs some time to open up. The wine has lots of vanilla, blossoms, dark toast, full body and is long, balanced and mineral. It has potential and will need some time to reach its peak. Currently 18/20 points.
