Old Bordeaux mature sensationally, but of course it always depends on the condition. Our bottle of Lafite-Rothschild from 1906 has a VTS fill level, which promises a lot of fun.
The Château Lafite-Rothschild 1906 Pauillac 1er Grand Cru Classe has a garnet red colour with some red reflections. The wine has forest floor, moss, but also fruit with cherry and strawberry. It is medium-bodied and still has a nice structure and some tannin. The wine has a long finish and improves with aeration. For old wine fans it is impressive with 18.8/20 points.
