This is again an awesome wine from Jean-Claude Bachelet. We already had the Grand Cru (Various Whites from Rheingau and Burgundy), now it is time for one of his Premier Cru.
The Jean-Claude Bachelet 2010 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Sous Le Puits shows what a white Burgundy should be: With white chocolate, lime and blossoms, full-bodied, dense, balanced, it is a very elegant wine with a good structure. The Bienvenues has even more structure and density but you have to pay more than twice. So the Sous Le Puits is the more reasonable wine, you get a lot of wine for your price - in this days this is rather rare in Burgundy.
