One of our subscriptions to mailing lists of Californian wineries is Kistler. And each time the new wines arrive, we are very happy to see that the Chardonnay is not less than 18/20 points.

So, we were excited to get the new vintage 2018 which seems to be a cool vintage. The Kistler 2018 Chardonnay Vine Hill Vineyard comes from the Russian River Valley and is a perfect combination of minerality like a Chablis, combined with the typical fruit and sweetness of California. With lime and blossoms, it is very mineral, balanced, long, dense and with a rather cool style and slight sweetness.
