For us the Gloria Ferrer 2007 Carneros Cuvée is the best sparkling of the new world and also most probably the best sparkling outside the Champagne. Sadly the 2007 vintage is not available anymore, so we were very excited when the new vintage 2010 arrived.

This should be a model for all other sparklings especially Champagne. Vintage 2007 was tiraged 28.02.2008 and disgorged 02.02.2018, so vintage 2010 has a little less time on the lees.

The Gloria Ferrer 2010 Carneros Cuvée is the top wine of the winery and comes with a fine perlage, an expressive nose of caramel and blossoms and medium- to full-body, dense, perfectly balanced and mineral with a long finish and an awesome elegance. It has a little bit more sweetness as the 2007 but it has the same quality level. 19/20 points.
