The Schnaitmann winery will release the vintage 2019 of Fellbacher Lämmer Lemberger Großes Gewächs and Fellbacher Lämmer Spätburgunder Großes Gewächs in September 2021. In the meantime, we can taste some fun wines, which are perfect on the terrace in summer.

The Schnaitmann 2018 Boom! Rosé Non Filtré is a Rosé with structure and tannin. It has enough fruit with strawberry and raspberry to be the perfect wine for the summer. 16.3/20 points.

The Schnaitmann 2019 Sauvignon Blanc Ifflinger has gooseberry, cassis, herbs and elder wood which are typical for Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is medium-bodied, creamy, balanced but hardly complex. It is young and will take some time to reach its peak. 17.3/20 points.

Most Trollinger are simple wines for easy drinking. It you want more complexity and class then take one of the best: Schnaitmann 2019 Trollinger Alte Reben. Currently it is very young. It will need some time to develop its complexity. It has strawberry, cherry, almond, black pepper and fresh mown grass. It is medium-bodied, balanced and fruity. 16.3/20 points.

The Schnaitmann 2018 Simonroth Cuvee MC is a cuvee of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It has a opaque dark violet colour and a lot of black fruit and liquorice. It is medium- to full-bodied, spicy and balanced. It has a lot of tannin and a long finish. But it could be a bit more complex. 16.8/20 points.
