The Royal City is one of the best Syrahs of Washington State.

This wine has the same effect as some of the old Rioja wines: At first it smelled very oxidized but the more air it got, the better he was. The oxidation notes disappear with a lot of air and then it had raspberry, rose hip, cassis, bacon, blood and a little bit powder sugar. Full-bodied, fresh, mineralic and more and more complex and sweeter with air, this is an amazing wine (19.8/20 points).
