The Marcassin 2005 Chardonnay 3 Sisters Vineyard needs a lot of aeration, 4 hours or more. The wine is very complex and balanced and has plum, blossoms, pear, fennel, cigar box, iodine, a full-body, mineral and a medium-long finish. The wine is dense, complex and characterful. 19.8/20 points.
